Dates for the premiere of Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince announced

The official premiere dates for Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince have been announced by Warner Brothers, and here they are:
- The Japanese premiere of Half-Blood Prince will take place on Monday, July 6, 2009.
- The London premiere will take place on Tuesday, July 7th.
- The New York City premiere the next day, on July 8th.
So yes, Japan gets HBP first, and they also got Order of the Phoenix first as well (I believe). Anyone going to a premiere? I would if there was one anywhere near me! No word quite yet on which HP stars will be coming to which premiere, I’ll have that information as it becomes available.
Where will the new York premiere take place? And how can I go?
