The Harry Potter Lexicon case is far from over

Well, we knew this was coming! Steven Vander Ark and RDR Books plan on filing an appeal to continue the publication of the Harry Potter Lexicon. Here’s more:
Vander Ark, who founded the Lexicon Web site more than a decade ago, said he would revise the book and remove offending passages.
“I’ve always been very much willing to work with” Rowling and Warner Bros. “and try to see what can be done,” he said.

Part of me is glad that they’re going ahead and filing an appeal, part of me is wishing that they would just give up already. JK Rowling has enough money and high-powered lawyers to sink this guy’s litigation before it even got to court - how does he think this is going to do any good?
