New interview with Tom Felton

Harry Potter And The Order Of The Phoenix - Arrivals

In a new interview over at Digital Spy, Tom Felton (Draco Malfoy) talks about being a role model and the end of Harry Potter:
On being a role model
“I feel slightly under pressure. When we’re in the studios there’s kids coming around all day.

“It’s not so bad for me as Draco because he’s a bad character, but there are these kids that look up to the cast.

“There’s definitely a feeling that you need to keep things under your hat.”

The 20-year-old added: “There’s also the pride of working for Warner Bros. We don’t want to make an a**e of ourselves and demoralise the producers.”

On life after Harry Potter

“Mark my words, if you see me in two years stacking shelves in Tesco, I wouldn’t be surprised.

“There’s a mixture of relief and disappointment. It’s a relief because the end is in sight, but equally terrifying is that I don’t know what I’m going to do afterwards. I’ve no idea.”
