James Bond and the Quantum of Solace release date affected by the delay of Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince
With the delay of Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince, not only is Twilight being affected, but the new James Bond movie titled “Quantum of Solace.”
Yep. Quite the ripple effect there, Warner Brothers! Quantum was originally scheduled for November 7, in order to get maximum playtime before the juggernaut that is Harry Potter arrived on the 21st. However, now it’s going to be moved one week later to take advantage of the empty time slot. Here’s what the Tristar bigwig had to say:
“We believe Nov. 14 is a great date that allows us to play straight through Thanksgiving and right into Christmas,” were the words of Jeff Blake, Columbia Tristar Motion Picture Group. chairman.

And just for fun, here’s the Quantum trailer. It looks pretty good!
