There WILL be a nude scene in Deathly Hallows
Remember at the end of Deathly Hallows, when Harry was in the train station with Dumbledore and was, uh, well, he was all nekkid? And then he (thankfully) got some robes on?
Well, apparently that scene is going to be acted out in all of Daniel’s naked glory. Well, not ALL - we don’t want to see Harry’s “magic wand”, for pete’s sake. Here’s the scoop:
Though confessing that he originally thought he would be wearing at least a trouser for the revealing scene, the boy wizard’s depicter noted that appearing without any fabric covering his skin isn’t worrying him at all. “At first I thought I’d have pants (underwear) on for the scene. Apparently not,” said Radcliffe adding that his “Equus” play has prepared him for this naked scene. “But I’ve sort of done that before on stage. It’s all old hat now, really.

What do you think - is this necessary? Will it give Deathly Hallows an “R” rating? I don’t think it will, unless we see more then just a side view.

I don’t know how to respond to this. I am an adult,so I could see them trying to stay true to the books,but I am also a mother and aunt,who will be going to see this film with my whole family,and I am sure that my 8 year old niece will blush,and feel uncomfortable. So right now I would have to say I am on the fence. I see both sides.

they would just show his naked chest and stuff, they wouldnt do a whole, like, view or anything. i dont think so, b/c that would like cancel out a lot of audiences. but, still, wb has done a lot of stupid things in the past….so……

That’s um… interesting. When I saw the title, I couldn’t even think of a scene that he’d have to be nude, so obviously it wasn’t a big thing in the book. I mean, it does nothing for the story at all. There are so many other points of the story that are WAY more important than him being naked for like, what? 30 seconds or something? I mean, I’ll be old enough to see and “R” rated film, but I’d probably watch it with my family, and I’d feel really awkward watching it with my little brother and sister and parents.
It better just be his chest because it would seem pointless to ruin the movie for all the little kids who will want to see it. The majority of the really dedicated fanbase will be around 17 or older by then, but still. I know my younger brother likes Harry Potter, but by 2011 he’ll only be like 10. I know a lot of kids read HP but the people who seem to be the most into it (in my experience) are kids who are at this point about 13 or 14 and older. So by 2011 or whatever they’ll be 16 or 17.
Wow, I’m starting to just babble lol. I don’t think this is a good idea. I think they’d lose money on it. But I might be completely wrong. Whatever, I’ll just stop talking now.

Ok, at the moment I’m only on chapter 28 in the Deathly Hallows book (my house is to noisy to read) but I don’t think they should do that, cause like Hermioneg247 said it would ruin it for all the little kids that want to see it and I think that would suck!!! My nephew & niece will be round 10 also, when it comes out and I would seriously doubt it if my sister would let them watch it. I also see what Jay is saying bout stayin true to the books, but I think it is innappropriate to put it into a movie that will be watched by young kids. I think if they put that into the movie they will lose a great number of viewers.
Sorry bout that. I, apparently, like to ramble^_^

Ok, I just finished the book yesterday morning, and I say that that would be completely stupid to put that nude scene in the movie. I mean seriously it’s kinda pointless to put that in, it would just ruin it for all of the kids that will wanna see it.
