Actual movie footage of Slughorn’s house - watch!

by Wendy on July 15th, 2008

Well, now we’re getting somewhere! Here is actual footage of the location used for the exterior of Slughorn’s house in Half-Blood Prince. The house, situated in Lacock, England, was used for shooting in October 2007 - you can see it about halfway through the video:

What do you think? Interesting. I’m looking forward to seeing the interaction that Slughorn, played by Jim Broadbent, brings to the Half-Blood Prince.

I want to go on a magical tour!!!!! Someday…

Anyway- the house seems cool- I’d love to own it! Of course, now they’ll probably be getting a lot of visitors which wouldn’t be that nice haha.

Can’t wait to see it and Slughorn in HBP!!!

taylor, that’s an awesome idea haha… you don’t have to wait until you’re 80, don’t worry. But, if neither of us get a chance to go until then, I guess we’ll both go together with our gray hair and walkers. :P
