What’s your Riddikulus?
A Riddikulus is a boggart banishing spell. It’s a simple charm requiring force of mind, requiring the person who’s using it to visualize his or her worst fear (like spiders!) in a funny form while reciting the spell. When it’s performed correctly, this forces the boggart to take on an appearance which will (hopefully) make you laugh so then you can defeat it.
So! What’s your Riddikulus?

SPIDERS!!!!! They give me the creeps…. One crawled on me last week and when i realised i screamed and literally ran around in circles!!

um iv loads..prb av 2 b spiders! can;t stand them! thought one was on me the other day in the shower, i screamed, but it was only my hair :L

Okay, spiders would definitely be mine too, but how about:
Rats
Snakes
Really big insects
And tornadoes is an interesting one - I wouldn’t have thought of that!

okay, wait. the boggart is what you’re most afraid of. the spell is the funny thing.
so, um, i dunno. probably my boggart would be a world with no harry potter, but that sounds really shallow… i dunno.

haha, thanks for your support wendy. you know, if there was no harry potter, we wouldnt know what were missing. i probably wouldve obsessed over some other series, but i doubt it. i wouldnt be as die hard as i am now w/ HP.
but yeah, im w/ you hermioneg247. mine would be molly’s. that scene totally creeped me out and im a little disappointed that they didnt put that in the movies. arg. it wouldve given mrs weasley her well deserved screan time. and i realized how stressful it must be for molly. and also, since she has such a big family, there’s a higher percentage that one will get hurt. but that sounded WAY mean.
