    MB - get your facts right when i first read yr msg i panicked but then i realised that some1 would have told me or i would have found out before hand and anyway there wouldnt be a ‘harry potter’ film without a harry potter and it would have been plastered all over the news by now!!!!

    There was indeed a news message concerning a harry potter actor being stabbed to death in London. But it was one of the side actors, and not dan himself.

    i agree with Carmen the guy who was killed was in fact Rob Knox who played Marcus Belby but i think they should keep him in the film even though its not a very big part in the book - it could be bigger in the film though.

    oh will u ppl PLZ stop thinking that it was Dan who was stabbed to death. it was the guy who plays Marcus bELBY. If it WAS DAN then it would’ve been all over the news and on tv and stuff.plus..I would’ve been crying my eyes out..
