  I think WB is trying to add more eye candy. They are push the Hollywood propaganda of beauty. I think it such a cliche that they have go and hire the “pretty” girls i.e. the new actress that plays Lavender Brown to make the movies more appealing to the average guy.

  Is JK Rowling even still involved with the movies anymore? What was wrong with young lady that they orignally played Pansy? Was she not “pretty” enough?

  Unfortunately, I think Scarlett reminds me of Lindsay Lohan.

  Personally, I liked the girl who portrayed Pansy first better. I just don’t know why. And, what’s the point of recasting? If I remember correctly, Pansy had only one line in the five movies(I’m remembering POA here). Btw, I agree with you apple22. WB casted Jesse Cave even though she was beyond the age limit. I’m also pretty sure that she didn’t get the part through the open auditions. I actually do feel sorry for those who tried out in the Lavender Brown auditions. It just seemd unfair for their parts.

  I liked the 1st Pansy Parkinson 2! she reminded me of the girl in St.Trinians..the one who’s in the new Bond movie now! I don’t see the point in re-casting either! Would love to know what T.V she’s been in! She from Ireland? my names Byrne 2 =]
