Would you tear up your Harry Potter books?
Well, you and I wouldn’t, but this guy in the video would. His name is Aviad Cohen, and he believes that any book other than the Bible is demonic and should be destroyed. In this video, a whole bunch of very deceived people sent him their books and he rips them up.
NOTE: I forced myself to watch the entire video, and it literally turned my stomach. This guy is a pompous ass who is using God as an excuse for his own ignorance. If you want to watch it, go ahead, but I wouldn’t recommend it - he just keeps saying the same thing over and over again: “Abomination!”.

The Bible is also a book with facts and fiction that was manipulated by the churchs to control society. Gods word is in the Bible, but the entire book is not the word of god, parts of it are yes, It is not what you read it is what you believe. I believe in God, don’t get me wrong, Just reading a book will not send me to hell. This guy is a ignorant fool brain washed by some church

this is so ridiculous. not liking the book is fine, but if you call it an abomination you are just being so ignorant. It’s a work of fiction, JK Rowling wasn’t making a personal attack on the church.

He says children should be exposed to positive things through reading.
Like…how Hermione and Ron stand by Harry through thick and thin because friendships are IMPORTANT?
Like…how a majority of the characters spend 7 years of their life protecting the ones they love by standing up for what is right and good?
Like…how every child who reads this book can connect with at least of the the characters and learn, through those characters, that though one may have downfalls and struggles, through friendship and never giving up, you can always prevail?
I certainly don’t want my child to learn those horrible lessons! :-\
