Confirmed casting so far for Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince
Here’s what we know so far about confirmed casting for Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince:
Harry Potter - Daniel Radcliffe - Warner Bros. officially announced on 23 March 2007.
Ron Weasley - Rupert Grint
Hermione Granger - Emma Watson
Draco Malfoy - Tom Felton - Has a penciled-in contract, in his words, though not set in stone.
Neville Longbottom - Matthew Lewis - Lewis confirmed in an interview on 22 June 2007.
Luna Lovegood - Evanna Lynch - Lynch confirmed in an interview at Dublin premiere of Order of the Phoenix on 8 July 2007.
Nymphadora Tonks - Natalia Tena - Tena confirmed in an interview with the Associated Press on 15 July 2007.
Bellatrix Lestrange - Helena Bonham Carter - Confirmed for The Deathly Hallows so suspected to be confirmed in The Half Blood Prince
Other than these confirmed castings, we don’t know anything. Obviously, it would be ridiculous for anyone else than Ralph Fiennes to play Voldemort, so I think we can count him in. There was a rumor going around that Naomi Watts was going to play Narcissa Malfoy, but she has officially denied that. I’ll post more news about Half-Blood Prince castings and confirmations as soon as I hear them.

I signed up for the role as Lavender Brown, I love her! Eventhougt I’m not English and she isn’t one of maincharacthers.
My bad luck was, that my father got sick and we couldn’t pay the ticket to England.
But still, can’t wait to see the new film!

so, you have to go to England to audition… I wouldn’t afford a ticket too! But I hope they’ll have auditions somewhere here in the Philippines, that’ll be much cheaper…
