What to read after Deathly Hallows

by Wendy on August 2nd, 2007

So I think we’ve probably all finished the book by now (just an FYI - those Deathly Hallows spoilers? Completely bogus. Still worth a read, however.), so what do we read after Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows?

SFSSignal has compiled a wonderful list of books to read if you’re a Potter fan - the list includes loads of great science fiction and fantasy. You can even download the list as a PDF file and take it with you to the library!

    Hey guys,
Now don’t be disheartened because there ARE other books out there…maybe not as good as the Harry Potter series but they’re still worth a read… Here’s a few that kept my mind off of things: The Artemis Fowl series(sarcastic humour) by Eoin Colfer, The Sabriel Series by Gath Nix, and then of course there are others such as Dan Brown’s Da Vinci Code, and for the sake of keeping your teachers happy and your brains enlightened: East of Eden by John Steinbeck. I seriously do recommend it as it is long, so it will keep you occupied and two because it is indeed a great book.

After i read DH i was mad. I was mad that she killed off 2 of my favorite charactors (not mentioning any names) so after i read it, i decided to read fanfictions about those to anonymous charactors.

I think there isn’t a book worth reading after you have read The Harry Potter Series. Take it from an expert I’ve Read the harry poter series books 1-7 over 500 times and counting, i read each series in under two months. That’s a serious Fanatic But that’s me. I even bought original copies of ever characters wand valued at 200 dollars each. I have the limited Editon Harry Pottewr Series Valued at 600 dollars. If Theres an expert it’s me.

Well I too agree that there is no possible book series or movie series as good as Harry Potter.

yeah, i agree-i can’t get into any other books after harry potter ( though i do recommend the wheel of time series (awesome ;)) but that doesn’t count because i got into them before harry potter), so i just read the series over and over again and it never gets boring.!!!.
