Corrected: Naomi Watts has NOT been cast as Narcissa
Contrary to previously reported information, Naomi Watts has NOT been cast as Narcissa Black in Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince (which I think is a shame, since I think she would have done a great job!):

TLC has confirmed these reports are FALSE, as are similar rumors claiming that actors Joseph Fiennes and Stuart Townsend have also been cast in the sixth Harry Potter movie. While we are still awaiting official casting announcements, the Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince movie pre-production does continue, as they are set to begin filming in September, with a release date set for November, 2008.

she would have been great as narcissa malfoy, maybe they haven’t cast anyone yet so she can still be narcissa.. .
