Major Casting Change
Death Eater Bellatrix Lestrange was to be played by Helen McCrory, but she’s now had to be replaced as she’s expecting a baby and would be heavily pregnant when her scenes in the Ministry of Magic were filmed. Newsround can exclusively reveal that she will now be played by Helena Bonham Carter, who played Charlie’s mother in Charlie and The Chocolate Factory.
A few pieces of other casting have now also been confirmed for the fifth movie:
Young Sirius will be played by James Walters
Young Lupin by James Utechin
Young Snape will be played by Alec Hopkins.
Actor Jason Piper has also been cast in the part of the Bane the Centaur.
Rumor has it that OOP will be coming out in 2007. As from a Harry Potter fan to others, I can’t wait!
