Happy Birthday Gary Oldman!!
Well, well! It seems that Mr. Oldman, actor who played Sirius Black in Harry Potter Three and Four, has celibrated his 48th birthday today! I found this out at Free Dictionary.
Here is a little triva (from Free Dictionary that I had no idea about!):
- Oldman was originally supposed to voice General Grievous in “Star Wars: Episode III - Revenge of the Sith,” but backed out after learning the film was to be made outside of the Screen Actor’s Guild.
- “Henry & June,” is the only film (so far) in which he has been credited as “Maurice Escargot.”
- Oldman is the brother of “EastEnders,” actress Laila Morse.
- Gary Oldman, starred in the “Guns N’ Roses” music video of “Since I Don’t Have You,” as the Devil (sometimes called Misery).
- He earned the nickname “Scary Gary,” during production of “Air Force One,” due to his chilling portrayal of Ivan Korshunov.
Happy Birthday, Mr. Oldman!
